Web Happens Composer

Private Composer packages

The PHP packages Web Happens builds for its own projects, published as a Composer repository. You'll need an access token to install them. If you're working on a Web Happens project, ask us for one.

  1. Add the repository to your project

    composer config repositories.webhappens composer https://composer.webhappens.dev
  2. Add your access token

    Use the username you were given with your token. This saves it to your project's auth.json, so make sure that file is in your .gitignore. Add --global to use it in every project instead.

    composer config http-basic.composer.webhappens.dev <username> <your-access-token>
  3. Require a package

    Browse the packages to see what's available. Your browser will ask for your access token: enter your username and your token as the password.

    composer require webhappens/laravel-images

Deploying to Laravel Cloud or CI

Give each environment its own token, and set it in the COMPOSER_AUTH environment variable rather than committing an auth.json.

COMPOSER_AUTH={"http-basic":{"composer.webhappens.dev":{"username":"<username>","password":"<your-access-token>"}}}
